2021 GMT (Dow Jones) Fri's US employment report is vital for a host of reasons, among them a cautionary word from Jack Schannep , of the DowTheory.com Newsletter: a rise of 0.4+, on a rolling three-month basis, in the unemployment rate has resulted in recessions all nine times it has occurred, and has been accompanied by seven bear markets. If the three-month average hits 4.3% in future months, such a development could be in the works. (TG)
