And Dow Theorists were agog today about the DJIA's close below 10,466.93. As reported Sept.16, Jack Schannep, president of The Dow Theory Investment Timing Newsletter said that was the "magic number" for the Dow Theory to revert back to a bearish stance.

"The Dow Theory 'did its thing' today and joined the Schannep Timing Indicator with a SELL",  Schannep said via e-mail this afternoon.
