Today I am going to keep it short in this Dow Theory blog, as nothing of technical importance has occurred (and Cyprus, as a “fundamental” new has been discussed ad nauseam in all financial-related sites).
The SPY, Industrials and Transports closed down. The primary and secondary trend remains bullish.
Today’s volume was lower than Friday’s, which is bullish as declining prices were met by retreating volume. The overall pattern of volume, though, remains bearish suggesting increased odds for a secondary reaction.
Gold and silver
GLD and SLV closed up. The primary and secondary trend remains bearish.
GDX closed up and SIL closed down. The primary and secondary trend remains bearish.
